Pastoral Counseling Services by Ronda

Welcome!

I'm Ronda, and I've spent the past 40 years providing counseling services that help people flourish, whether in a classroom environment, while dealing with a difficult diagnosis, or through chaplaining and pastoral counseling.

Through many different facets: an Interior Decorator, a Mom, a College Professor, a Chaplain, a Guide, and as a Pastoral Counselor, my focus is always on helping you find your strength and peace.

Let's talk about what well-being looks like.

And then, let's move forward with a plan for your personal development.

If I can send my clients home with three things after every session, they are:

-A new tool

-An "I can do this" mindset, and

-An understanding that I can reach out to Ronda.

Beyond my own life experience (thank you divorce and breast cancer), I have years of specialized training in spirituality, aging (including caring for four parents who have since passed away), grief and loss, anxiety and fear, anger, contending with the unspoken, life transitions, mindfulness, self-discovery, cultural stressors, and caregiving.

I will always honor and respect your deeply held beliefs and traditions surrounding religion and culture, as well as identity and community; your safety is important to me.

In addition to my counseling services, I enjoy time with family, reading, walking, visiting, traveling, and writing.

I have been blogging for over a decade at: http://folkladysadventures.blogspot.com/

MEANINGFUL QUOTES FROM MY JOURNAL:

"One reason people resist change is because they focus on what they have to give up, instead of what they have to gain" - Rick Godwin.

"Everybody needs to take some time, in some way, to quiet themselves and really listen to their heart, which is essential for personal development." - Jack Kornfield.

"Healing takes courage, and we all have courage, even if we have to dig a little to find it, especially during our journey through counseling services." - Tori Amos.

"In awe, our minds open in wonder to the systems of life and our small part in them, highlighting the importance of spiritual care." - Dacher Keltner.

"And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom, a testament to the growth that comes with embracing change." - Anais Nin.
